Welcome to the SRRC

The Student Recruitment and Retention Center (SRRC) stands for educational equity. Our student-run and student-initiated programs created by students for students foster holistic, academic and personal development while raising political and cultural awareness for youth and college students. We educate, engage and empower students to act as dynamic leaders for their communities so that we can all transform knowledge into action. The programs and services offered by the SRRC are available to all students and community.

Our Graphic Element

With the bright and vibrant colors displayed, the SRRC graphic element symbolizes our dedication to providing holistic empowerment, cultural support and a safe place for historically underrepresented, educationally disadvantaged and low-income communities at UC Davis. Through this “hand” and “heart” representation, we convey a sense of holding space in alignment with our values—from the physical and virtual spaces that our center provides services through to the emotional and mental space that cultivates the energy within and across our communities. As leaders for educational equity, we honor the legacy of our past, the love we hold for the current communities we serve and the hope we cultivate for future generations through the SRRC.
