Black Community Retreat 2018: Building Bridges, Building Unity

The Black Community Retreat is an opportunity for you to build relationships with current and new students like yourself on campus, become knowledgeable about resources available at UC Davis to support your education, and to learn more about yourself and the ways you can be empowered on campus. The off-campus retreat is an opportunity for revitalizing the bonds of the African Diasporic community. We hope to create a sense of union, and to form leaders and pioneers for our community!

Theme: Building Bridges, Building Unity

When: Saturday, October 20 AND Sunday, October 21

Where: Community of the Great Commission, Foresthill, CA

Application Due Dates:

• Participant Application: Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 11:59 p.m.

• Mentor Application: Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11:59 p.m.

Participation Fee: $20 (covers transportation, lodging, and meals - participants only)
